Network Immunity Courses
The Master's Program in Telecommunications is pleased to announce three new short courses on network immunity. The short courses may be taken together or each as an independent course.
The courses are oriented toward the knowledge and skills for secure operation of systems and networks. They are designed to be practical courses for the telecommunications professional to brush up on the theory behind network security, study the threats to individual systems, and learn innovative techniques to protect networks. Short Course 1: Cryptography and Information Security
The first short course is an overview of cryptography protocols and security algorithms. This section provides a short theoretical background on network security and is recommended only for those with a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Short Course 2: System Security
The second short course concentrates on immunity of individual machines or systems. Students will study specific threats to individual machines and learn how to mitigate these attacks with different tools. For more information about the second short course, please click here.

Short Course 3: Network Security
The third short course focuses on network level security and covers immunity of networks to attacks and threats. For more information about the third short course, please click here.

Registration Information
Telecommunications professionals not currently enrolled in the Master's Program in Telecommunications are invited to register for any of the three short courses to further their training on network immunity and explore what the Master's Program in Telecommunications has to offer.
To register, please contact us and let us know which courses you would like to enroll in. One of our staff members will get back to you to help you with the registration process. Visiting professionals must simply apply as an Advanced Special Student by submitting a short online application through the Graduate School. To apply, click here.
