Scholarly Paper Workshop

Who: All Students
When: 4:00 PM

The Scholarly Paper Workshop will provide students an overview of expectations for the Scholarly Paper including information covering content, format, writing tips, academic integrity, and useful resources for developing a successful paper. All students are required to attend ONE Scholarly Paper Workshop prior to submitting a Topic Approval Form. Workshops are offered at the beginning of the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Students should plan accordingly and are welcome to attend more than one workshop.

Fall Career & Internship Fair 2014

Who: All Current Students
When: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

This annual event hosted by the University Career Center provides students the opportunity to meet with prospective employers to learn about internship and full-time employment opportunities. The fair takes place on both September 17 and September 18 with different employers attending each day. Students are encouraged to attend both days and plan ahead. Remember to dress professionally and bring several copies of your resume. No preregistration is required.

Date: Monday, August 15, 2016
When: Sign-In Opens at 10:45 AM; Exam begins at 11:00 AM
Location: 0130 Tydings Hall

New students are strongly encouraged to take the placement exams to determine if they may be exempt from two of the initial technical core courses.

Students need to bring the following items: University Student ID card (or government issued ID) and pencils. Scrap paper will be provided.
