What score do you require on the TOEFL exam?

Do you require the GRE exam?
No, our program does not require the GRE exam.
What documents should I send to the graduate school?
- A complete graduate application.
- A non-refundable application fee of $60.00.
- Official undergraduate transcripts.
- Residency Information form-- U.S. citizens and permanent residents only.
- Certificate of Finances Form- International applicants only. Available here .
- International applicants that are already in the U.S. must provide copies of I-20, I-94, and passport visa stamp.
- 3 letters of recommendation (preferably electronic submission).
- Statement of goals, research interests, and experiences (preferably electronic submission).
- Resume (preferably electronic submission).
What is the University and program code that I should I
give to ETS to have my TOEFL scores sent?
The University code is 5814. You do not need to indicate a program
code.
How do I check my admission status?
Your admission status can be checked by going to www.gradschool.umd.edu.
You will need to use your student ID number and your pin number
(your birthdate).
When will a decision be made on my application?
It may take anywhere from 2 -3 months for a decision to be made
on your application.
How do I check on the status of my I-20?

What is the minimum GPA requirement?
The minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0.
Do you offer financial aid or assistantships?
No, our program does not offer financial aid or graduate/teaching
assistantships.
