Welcome to TSAN!
Hello Everyone
On behalf of the TSAN board I would like to welcome you to the TSAN
(Telecommunications Students and Alumni Network) website!
This website is a means to update you on the TSAN activities, provide
some important information beneficial for the ENTS students and a
means to network with the TSAN members. Please check back for upcoming
event
updates!
TSAN works closely with raising student concerns to the program office
and working for the betterment of the program and the students.
TSAN helps in forming a close network between the current students,
alumni,
program office and faculty. We also believe in keeping you abreast
with the current industrial trends by arranging seminars by industrial
speakers, publishing newsletters, participating in networking events.
It complements the idea of the program being a Professional degree
due to this active networking and industrial exposure.
TSAN forums on the website help the current and prospective students
to share their thoughts about the ENTS program and the university
in general. It provides a platform for prospective students to
post their
queries about the program and get a response from the current
students and alumni.
All the activities of TSAN can be successful only with the active
participation of you students. We encourage your participation
in upcoming TSAN activities
for a well-rounded and professional learning experience.
Please feel free to contact us on tsan-info [at] umd [dot]
edu with any queries or suggestions.
Sincerely,
Karthick Annamalai Kasiviswanathan

Message from Associate Director, ENTS Program
Dear Students, Alumni & Friends of the Program,
The Master’s Program in Telecommunications feels extremely fortunate to have such an active and influential organization representing its students and alumni as the Telecommunications Student and Alumni Network (TSAN).
Since its founding in 2001, TSAN has played a vital role in the academic, social and professional lives of our student and alumni family. TSAN has worked in conjunction with campus administration to address student tuition concerns, gain additional program resources, and in suggesting new and exciting courses.
While TSAN is a wholly independent and autonomous organization, over the years, program office staff and faculty have enjoyed a dynamic and advantageous relationship with them. This relationship has benefited students, alumni and the M.S. in Telecommunications program at large.
The faculty and staff of the M.S. Program in Telecommunications encourage all our students and alumni to participate in TSAN, in whatever way you are able, to ensure the growth, development and continued success and prosperity of your Master’s program.
Please receive our welcome to the Master’s Program in Telecommunications here at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Sincerely,
Asante Shakuur
Associate Director,
M.S. In Telecommunication.
